Having spent probably far too much time on a discussion forum debating various pentecostal issues I have decided to use some of the material for my blog (why recreate the wheel?)
1) there is only one ‘recieving’ of the Holy Spirit and this happens at salvation
What is your experience/scriptural support for speaking or not speaking in tongues?
I became a Christian through a church that believed tongues had passed away along with prophecy, healings and miracles.I began to speak in tongues a year and a half later after going to pentecostal meetings, reading Pentecostal literature and and praying about it.
