Three Streams

Do You Know Jesus?Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ? In a nutshell, this is the basis of true Christianity. You can have church, religion, baptism, crucifixes, but the issue is do you know Jesus?

Jesus is the Son of God, through Him God created the world and everything in it. The people God made rejected God’s ways and instead they followed a fallen Angel called Satan. This brought God’s judgement and a curse upon the earth.You are born into a cursed existence.

Jesus came to destroy sin and restore people to God. He did this through His death on the cross, which was to bear the punishment of your sins. God raised Him from the dead and has given him the Name above all Names. Only through Jesus Christ can you be saved.

Saved from what?

Ultimately every person will stand before the judgement seat of God. After death you will be judged. Only if you have recieved God’s pardon for your rebellion will you be allowed to enter heaven forever. If you have not recieved this pardon, you will be cast into hell. Your soul is unprepared for death. You cannot recieve this pardon after you die. You can only recieve it now. You recieve the pardon through renouncing your sin, turning from it, turning to God and trusting in Jesus as your only Lord and savior.

To reject Christ, is to secure your eternity in hell. To follow Christ is to turn your back on the things of this world. You cannot earn your salvation, it is a free gift which can only be recieved through faith in the Son of God and his atoning work on the cross.
