Pentecost Sunday
Well as you probably know sunday was Pentecost Sunday in the church calendar, usually this doesnt mean very much, yet the fire of the Lord was very much present during our two services.
Sunday morning was taken by Elizabeth Jenson, a native American prophetess. During the worship two of our young people were spontaneously baptised in the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues! Totally awesome! Elizabeth confirmed what the Lord has been speaking to us as a church, that is, that God is about to pour out His Spirit upon us in an incredible measure. The glory will fill the temple, the lost will be saved, backslidden restored, the sick healed and the demonized set free.
Sunday night was a powerful experience when a former pastor shared his testimony and preached the Word of God. This pastor had formerly been used in powerful prophetic and deliverance ministry but had fell away from the Lord for many years. This was his first preaching engagement since his restoration, what a night it was. He preached for over an hour, the annointing was upon him. He pleaded for souls with an urgency that I have rarely heard. That night people were prayed for and deliverances began to take place. Christ was honoured, The Spirit had freedom and the Word was sharp. It reminded me why I am Pentecostal! I believe it was a very pure expression of Christianity! The only thing that I can say is more Lord!
