Can you hear the Lions roar?
It calls the church, once more to soar.
To rise up from the ashes of defeat,
To come before the mercy seat.
To leave behind shame and disgrace,
To get on her knees and seek His face.

There is a coming mighty tide,
The King comes looking for his bride.
With waves of mercy, waves of grace,
Spot or wrinkle there can be no trace.
As she gets herself clean and makes herself holy,
She prepares herself for the coming Gory.

And as it was at Pentecost,
The Lord will usher in the lost-
Tongues of fire, a mighty rushing wind,
Now clothed in white are those who once sinned.

With a sword in their hands and a fire in their hearts,
Their faith a shield from the enemy’s darts.
All opposition they take in their stride
As God raises up his warrior bride.
With consciences cleansed and hearts washed pure
In a sin sick world they bring God’s cure.

With banners raised high, they march ahead,
Preaching the gospel and raising the dead.
Awakening sinners, restoring lost sheep,
Those who are slumbering arise from their sleep.
Cripples are healed and prisoners set free,
The deaf will hear, the blind will see.

They cast out demons, they speak with new power,
They reflect God’s glory,
it’s the final hour.
They fulfil the commission, empowered from on high,
For this cause, they will live or die.
Their hearts, they await, the return of the king,
As the day approaches this new song they sing

You’ve opened our eyes; you’ve broken our chains,
You’ve healed our hearts- you’ve washed our stains.
We lay aside all earthly gain,
You are the Lamb, for us you were slain!

Run with this vision, let hope remain,
The Lord will pour out the latter rain.
Be ever prepared- get into place
Trust not in yourself, but only his grace.
Know your Lord, know yourself, know your Mission.
Keep in your heart, this latter day vision.
For the time has now come, his church to restore,
Listen! Can you hear it? The lions roar!
